Transfer Point: Sabiha Gökçen Airport
Meeting at Sabiha Gökçen Airport International Terminal. After completing ticket, passport, and baggage procedures, we will depart for Casablanca on a scheduled Air Arabia flight at 00:20, arriving at 03:25 in the morning. After meeting with our bus and local guide waiting for us at the airport, we will depart for Marrakech. After breakfast, we will begin our Marrakech excursions. Yves Saint Laurent's secret garden, Jardin Majorelle, is one of the finest examples of Moroccan architecture. There will be unique plants to see and photograph in the garden. The monumental Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace with its Moroccan mosaics and wooden ornaments, the Saadian Tombs, and the Menara Gardens surrounded by olive trees are among the places to be seen. After the tour, transfer to the hotel and free time to relax. Dinner and overnight stay at our Marrakech hotel.
After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for Essaouira. On this tour, this small fishing town on the Atlantic coast is one of Morocco's most romantic destinations. Reminding us of ancient Bodrum, Essaouira has inspired many artists, including Orson Welles. A former Portuguese port, the city preserved its castle and historic harbor during Arab rule, and with the arrival of Christian Portuguese and Muslims, it became a truly cosmopolitan city. Its medina, comprised of streets and avenues intersecting at right angles, is a prime example of the period's urban planning. The kilometers-long sandy beach hosts international surfing competitions every year. Along the way, we'll reach the city, enjoying its natural beauty and visiting important sites such as the castle, medina, souks, and harbor. We'll have free time at the harbor for lunch and shopping. We'll gather at a time determined by our guide and return to Marrakech. Dinner and overnight stay at our hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart with our luggage. First, in Marrakech, you will explore all the traditional corners of the Marrakech souk, which resembles a giant traditional labyrinth. During this tour, you will encounter all the examples of the many handicrafts available in the country, such as cloth merchants, blacksmiths, tanneries, and woodworkers. The tour ends at Jamaa El Fna Square, the liveliest city square in Africa. This square, which we can call a true "courtyard of miracles," is one of the rare squares on the UNESCO National Heritage List. Jamaa El Fna, enlivened with performances by storytellers, snake charmers, tattoo artists, jugglers, and acrobats, can be briefly described as an "open-air theater." After our Marrakech tours, we depart for Casablanca. Places to see in Casablanca; Anfa & Ain Diab, Mohammed V Square, United Nations Square, and the Hassan II Mosque, built between 1980 and 1993, are among the three largest mosques in the world. 25,000 people can pray indoors at the same time, and 80,000 can gather in the courtyard. The laser light on its 200-meter minaret announces prayer times up to 35 km away. The structure, built on an area of 20,000 square meters, will be the most impressive tour of the day. Our historical Casablanca city tour will include Mohammed V Square, the Medina, and the Corniche Boulevard. After visiting the King's palace, now a museum, the old historic district called the Medina, and the bazaars, we'll have dinner and overnight at our Casablanca hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out with our luggage and depart for Rabat. Rabat is located on the banks of the Bou Regreg River, surrounded by a forest of eucalyptus and Portuguese cork trees. We begin our city tour in Fez, the religious and cultural capital of Morocco, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Our city tour includes the 14th-century Al Attarine Madrasa, the 9th-century Karaounie University, the Jewish Quarter, the Southern Bastion, Nejarine Square and Fountain, the artisan's market, where Moroccan jewelry, copperware, and other ornaments are sold, and the historic square near the Fez River, where leather is still processed using the same archaic techniques. Then, we depart for Meknes. Arrive in Meknes, founded by Mulla Ismail in the 17th century and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Within the 40 km-long city walls surrounding the city, you'll visit the 17th-century Agdal irrigation pool, Bab Mansour, Morocco's most beautiful city gate, the Mausoleum of Molla Ismail, and El Hedim Square. Afterward, you'll transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight at your hotel in Meknes.
After breakfast at the hotel, we check out with our belongings and depart for Chefchaouen. Nestled at the foothills of the Rif Mountains, with its houses, walls, doors, and windows reflecting various shades of blue, this city looks like something out of a fairy tale. Famous for its narrow streets and sky-blue houses, this "Blue City," whose fame has spread far beyond Morocco, will make you feel like you're in a blue dream. On our panoramic city tour of Chefchaouen, a place you won't get enough of, we visit the Kasbah, Medina, and Mohammed V Square, followed by the Jemaa Bouzafar Mosque. In this city famous for its sky-blue houses, we visit the Kasbah, Medina, Mohammed V Square, followed by the Jemaa Bouzafar Mosque. Then, we depart for Tétouan. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, we leave with our luggage and depart for Tangier. Our Tangier tour includes a cruise of the Strait of Gibraltar, the famous Cave of Hercules, and Tangier's historic bazaar. After completing luggage and ticketing, we depart for Istanbul on a scheduled Air Arabia flight at 5:00 PM, arriving at 11:30 PM.
