Grand Tour of Egypt (SPX-SSH)

Meeting at Istanbul Airport. Depart for Cairo, Egypt's most beautiful holiday destination, on a Tailwind Airlines Private Flight. Upon arrival, we'll meet with our vehicle and take a panoramic tour of Cairo. Then, we'll board our ship for our dinner Nile Cruise. This delightful cruise will also feature a view of Cairo from the Nile, including a buffet-style meal. Upon completion of our tour, we'll transfer to our hotel, check in, and stay overnight.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the Giza Pyramids, one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world (Khufu Pyramid, Khafre Pyramid and the smallest of the Pyramids, Mykerinos Pyramid) (Entrance fees to the interior of the pyramids are not included) and seeing the giant human-headed lion statues, the sphinxes (Khufu Pyramid was built by Pharaoh Khufu (Khufu) in 2560 BC during the 4th Dynasty. It is estimated that its construction took more than 20 years. It is approximately 145.75 m high.) Then, we will visit the Cairo Museum, one of the most famous and richest museums in the world in terms of the artifacts it holds, which also bears witness to five thousand years of history. After completing our tour, we will have dinner at a local restaurant. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation.

After an early breakfast at the hotel, depart for Alexandria, approximately 2.5 hours from Cairo. Located on the Mediterranean coast and the second largest city in Egypt, Alexandria is also one of the most important cities in terms of tourism. A panoramic city tour of Alexandria includes a visit to Qaitbay Castle, built from the ruins of the Lighthouse of Alexandria, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Then, visit the Abu'l-Abbas al-Mursi Mosque and the tomb of Imam Busayri, whose Qasida al-Burdah (Ode to the Prophet Muhammad), one of the great Islamic poets, won everyone's hearts. Some of the places we will see include the Library of Alexandria, Muntaza Park, and the Egyptian National Museum. At the end of our tour, we will have an early dinner at one of Alexandria's famous fish restaurants. Upon completion of our tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we visit the Cairo Citadel, a hill overlooking Cairo that offers the most beautiful view. On this hill, we see the Kavalali Mehmet Ali Pasha Mosque, built in the classical Ottoman architectural style, as well as other valuable historical structures such as the Qalawun Mosque. We then visit the Tulunoğlu Mosque, the first Turkish structure in Egypt, and photograph the details of its impressive architecture. For our lunch break, we board our boat on the Nile River, where we enjoy an open buffet dinner. Our afternoon excursion includes a visit to Cairo's City of the Dead, one of the world's most impressive cemeteries, and the tomb of Imam Shafi'i. We then head to Muizz Street, Cairo's most important thoroughfare, to examine the architectural monuments that transport us through different centuries of history. Among these structures, we'll find the beautiful fountains (sebils) and colossal complexes belonging to the Mamluk Sultans, and mosques and caravanserais with Turkish inscriptions from the Ottoman period. After visiting Muizz Street, we visit Khalil Bazaar, Cairo's historic market, and the Hazrat Hussein Mosque, where the head of Hazrat Hussein is buried. Afterwards, we take a panoramic view of Al-Azhar University. After completing our program, we return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will set off early in the morning towards St. Catherine. After our journey accompanied by the endless desert views, we will begin our visit to the monastery upon arrival. The St. Catherine Greek-Orthodox Monastery is situated at the foothills of Mount Moses (Mount Sinai), which is mentioned in the Quran as the place where Moses spoke to God and received the 10 Commandments. (Our program does not include climbing Mount Sinai.) It is mentioned in the holy books that God spoke to Moses in the form of a flame. It is believed that the fire that constantly burns in front of the monastery (The Burning Bush) was lit from this original fire and has survived to this day without extinguishing. Since the relics in the monastery are considered sacred by all Christian denominations, the monastery is considered a place of pilgrimage. In addition, there are some historical documents in the monastery indicating that Prophet Muhammad repeatedly traveled to this monastery and met with the religious officials on duty there, and these documents are confirmed by leading Islamic scholars. In addition; Famous figures such as Sultan Selim I, Napoleon, Catherine the Great, and Empress Helena are known to have visited this monastery. For this reason, people of all religions and the atheists alike consider the monastery a place of spiritual purification, praying and making wishes according to their own beliefs during their visits. The monastery's first-edition books, original manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments, and historical icons are considered among the most important treasures in the history of world religions. (These treasures are frequently exhibited in museums worldwide; some may not be in the monastery during your visit.) The monks, nuns, and priests living here live a solitary life, enjoying warm relationships with the Bedouin people of the desert. Among the sites we will visit are the place where Moses met his wife, the tomb of Aaron, and the Carving of the Golden Calf. Upon arrival, we depart for Sharm. Upon arrival, transfer to our hotel, check into our rooms, dinner, and overnight stay at the hotel.

We'll have the opportunity to explore the city on a panoramic city tour. Sharm el-Sheikh, a former port city, has been declared the "World's Best City" by UNESCO for its peace and beauty. It's also known as the "City of Peace." We'll take a short break at our first stop, the Sahabe Mosque. Completed in 2011, the mosque, with its 76-meter-tall minaret, is breathtaking. After a prayer and photo break, there's free time to shop for local souvenirs in the old town's bazaar. At the appointed time, we'll gather and board our boat, which will be waiting at the dock to enjoy a seamless view of the Red Sea's treasures. We'll have the opportunity to observe the Red Sea, one of the world's most colorful and beautiful underwater seas, from a glass-bottomed boat. After our enjoyable boat tour, we'll return to our hotel. Guests who wish can explore the old town or Soho Square at their own pace, strolling the streets of Sharm, and shopping. Our guests who wish can participate in optional tours such as the Desert ATV/Buggy Safari and the Desert Bedouin Night, organized by our guide. Dinner and accommodation will be at our hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll check out and head to Sharm Airport. Our enjoyable tour concludes.
