Meeting at Istanbul Airport. Depart for Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, on a scheduled Saudia Airlines flight. Upon arrival, check-in and accommodation at the hotel.
After breakfast at our hotel, we'll depart at 10:00. Diriyah, home of the Saudi Royal Family, is famous for its traditional adobe architecture and winding narrow streets. The Diriyah Museum, housed in the former palace and home to exhibitions on Saudi history, and the restored Al-Zawihra Mosque are among the region's cultural attractions. Our next stop will be the Riyadh National Museum, which displays ethnic, archaeological, and Islamic artifacts from across Saudi Arabia. We'll depart for the Kingdom Centre for lunch and shopping. Guests can shop at their leisure or go up to the Sky Bridge on the 99th floor of the skyscraper (approximately 18 USD per person). We'll gather at the specified time and depart for Boulevard City, Riyadh's newest attraction. This delightful theme park, a new-generation entertainment and shopping center, will make you lose track of time. During your free time, enjoy entertainment and shopping, and watch the fire, light, and water shows. Departure to your hotel and overnight stay.
After breakfast at our hotel, we'll depart for the airport. After completing our luggage and ticketing procedures, we'll depart for Taif by local airlines for our approximately 2-hour flight. Taif is a mountainous city in Saudi Arabia, particularly famous for its beautiful flower gardens and cool climate. It also holds historical and cultural significance. Taif is also a renowned grape and rose-growing region. Our first stop upon arrival was the Taif Rose Factory. During the Ottoman era, the rose oils and essences extracted from the Taif Rose were transformed into precious gems in skilled hands and sent to the capital. They were presented to the sultan, the mother, the Haseki Sultans, and the sultan's guests at Topkapı Palace. After visiting the Rose Factory, we'll descend by cable car over the Al Hada and Al Sarawat Mountains, which slope down towards Mecca. After boarding our waiting vehicle, we'll arrive in the holy city of Mecca approximately one hour later. We'll perform our evening prayer at the Kaaba with our guests who wish. Return to our hotel and dinner overnight.
We perform our morning prayer at the Kaaba with our guests who wish. Return to our hotel and have breakfast. After breakfast, guests can join a Jeddah tour for an additional fee ($150) or stay in Mecca to perform their prayers. After breakfast at our hotel, we depart for Jeddah. Upon arrival in Jeddah, we begin our tour. Our first stop is the Al Taybat International City Museum of Science and Knowledge. Home to mosques and antiquities, the museum complex, with its traditional architecture, highlights the city's history and experiences Saudi Arabia's history. Then, we board our boat to experience the vibrant coastal life of Jeddah, the pearl of the Red Sea. After our hour-long boat tour, we head to Old Jeddah, also known as Al-Balad, or the old city. Al-Balad is the historical district of Jeddah. Literally translated, "Balad" means "town." Founded in the 7th century, Al-Balad served as the center of Jeddah for many years. After completing our tour of Al-Balad, we will depart for the holy city of Mecca. Overnight will be at our Mecca hotel.
Guests who wish will depart from our hotel at 4:00 AM to Jabal an-Nur, the site of the Prophet's first revelation. It was here that the Prophet first met Gabriel and the first verses of the Quran were revealed. The cave at the summit of the mountain is the Cave of Hira. It can be reached after a steep and strenuous climb of approximately 50 minutes. Guests who wish can perform the morning prayer at the summit. (There is no restroom or ablution facilities.) This is a challenging and tiring program. We will depart for our hotel for breakfast. After breakfast at our hotel, we will begin our Mecca city tour. Our first stop is a distant view of Mount Thawr, the Prophet's first stop during his Hijra journey. Afterward, we will visit Mina, Muzdalifah, Arafat, and the Stoning of the Devil site, the sites of the Hajj. We will continue our program with a visit to Hudaybiyyah. We'll visit the site, a significant site in Islamic history and the site of the signing of the Treaty of Hudaybiyyah, and visit a camel farm on the way back. Those who wish can sample camel milk. After completing our visits to Mecca, we'll depart for the Mecca high-speed train station. We'll arrive in Medina in the evening. Guests who wish can go to the Prophet's Mosque to greet our guide. (I will respond to anyone from my community who comes to my grave and greets me.) We'll greet our Prophet and return to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
We offer our morning prayers at the Prophet's Mosque (Masjid an-Nabawi) with our guests who wish. After the morning prayer, we will visit important structures such as the Bulut Mosque, the Mosque of Abu Bakr, the Mosque of Ali, and the Jannatul Baqi'i Cemetery, where more than 10,000 companions of the Prophet are buried, accompanied by our guide. Return to our hotel for breakfast and rest. At the specified time, we will depart for our Medina tour. We will complete our city tour by visiting Mount Uhud and its Martyrdom, where the Battle of Uhud took place, the Qiblatain Mosque, the site of the Battle of the Trench, the Medina Train Station, and the Quba Mosque. Then, we will depart for a date garden for date tasting and shopping. You can taste and purchase the world-famous Medina dates. Free time with our guide's guidance. After this free time, we will depart for the airport. (There is no accommodation on the last day.)
