Meeting at Sabiha Gökçen Airport's International Departures Terminal. Flight to Barcelona on a Pegasus Airlines flight. We begin our program with a panoramic city tour. Among the must-see attractions in Barcelona, Spain's second-largest city and the capital of Catalonia after Madrid, are the Sagrada Familia, the statue of Christopher Columbus, Montjuic Hill, La Ramblas, Plaza de España and Catalunya, Paseo de Gracia, Gran Via, the Arena de Andalusia, the Port Olympic, and Park Güell, an open-air museum decorated with colorful mosaics and organic shapes by Spanish modernist architect Antoni Gaudí, one of Barcelona's most iconic and fascinating landmarks. Following the tour, transfer to your hotel in Barcelona. Dinner and accommodation.
After breakfast at the hotel, we depart for our Girona & Figueras & Dali Museum tour. We'll visit the medieval city of Girona, its grand cathedral and Jewish quarter, Figueras, the birthplace of the famous painter Dali, and the Dali Museum. Following our tour, we'll take a Barcelona Icons tour with our guests. Then, it's time to get lost in the city's backstreets! We'll begin the walking leg of our tour. Starting from Catalonia Square, we'll see the Barcelona Cathedral and Cathedral Square; El Calle, Barcelona's best-preserved Jewish quarter after Girona in Spain; Saint Jaume Square and the adjacent Roman ruins; Saint Neri Square; Plaza Reial; the Mercat de la Boqueria, one of the oldest markets in the city and even in Europe; and finally, the Font de Canaletes fountain. Following the tour, we'll have dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast at the hotel, we'll depart for Valencia. Along the way, we'll visit the famous town of Sitges, a favorite of European high society. Sitges is located 35 km southwest of Barcelona. With its typical Mediterranean spirit, its perfect location between the mountains and the sea has made it one of the most popular destinations in recent years. We'll begin our tour at the magical steps of the San Bartolome-Santa Tecla Cathedral and wander through its historic streets. This 17th-century cathedral rises on the ruins of former Romanesque and Gothic churches. After admiring this magnificent cathedral, our next journey takes us through the streets of historic Sitges. The Maricel Palace and its museum, a rare example of Modernism within the medieval city center, are a paradise for collectors. Just across the street, we'll stop at the Cau Ferrat Museum, the home of Santiago Rusiñol, one of the leaders of the Modernist movement in Catalonia. When he began exhibiting his paintings here in Sitges, he played a major role in making the town so well-known. After visiting the colorful houses and charming bars along the narrow streets where the Sitges Festival, a venue for horror and fantasy films and annually attracts thousands of people, is celebrated, we will continue our journey. Valencia is Spain's third-largest city by population and boasts the largest port. This city, which blends old and new, features both ancient and modern buildings. Our panoramic city tour will include the City Hall, the Gothic Cathedral, the Arena, the Museum of Arts and Sciences, the Mercado Centrale, and the Old Silk Exchange. Following the tour, dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we set out to explore Granada. Our first stop in Granada will be the Alhambra Palace, with its magnificent gardens and incredibly beautiful decorations. During our long palace tour, we will both admire the wonders of the Beni Ahmer Kingdom and embrace Granada, which we will see from the top of San Nicholas Hill, just outside the palace. The city awaits us; in the old Arab quarter of Albacin, we will stroll the steep streets accompanied by the melodies of street performers, see the Morabütün Mosque, and reach Gran Vía, the city's main street, and Isabel de Catholica Square, named after the queen. After a short coffee break, we will see Granada Cathedral and the markets from the outside. Guests who wish can wander through the beautiful city's markets, or sample the famous tapas in the cafes that greet you at every corner in the city's beautiful squares. After the tour, transfer to your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we depart for Cordoba, the capital of Andalusia. Upon arrival, we'll visit the Roman Bridge, the Guadalkavir River, and enter Cordoba's old city through the Roman Gate. The Great Mosque of Cordoba, a masterpiece of Islamic architecture with 850 columns remaining from the Umayyad period, part of which was converted into a cathedral after the fall of Andalusia, still retains its splendor; the Jewish quarter; and the Cordoba Synagogue, built in Andalusian style. We'll explore the streets of old Cordoba, see statues of famous Andalusian leaders, and sections of the city walls that have survived to this day. Following this, we'll depart for Seville, visiting the old libraries along the Wadi Elkebir River. Our city tour of Seville begins upon arrival. Among the places we'll see are Plaza de Espanya, Maria Luisa Park, and the Seville Cathedral, which was converted from the Grand Mosque into a church and, with centuries of additions, has become the largest cathedral in Spain today. The courtyard annex still stands, offering panoramic views. We'll also see the Giralda, a mosque minaret converted into a bell tower. After the city tour, transfer to our hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and head to Toledo, one of the world's most beautiful medieval cities, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Toledo boasts the Toledo Cathedral, built on the ruins of an ancient mosque, the historic streets of Toledo, and many works by the famous painter El Greco, who is synonymous with Toledo. After our Toledo tour, we depart for Madrid. Upon arrival, we'll explore Gran Via, Plaza de España, the Don Quixote Monument, the Pyramids, the Real Royal Palace (from outside), the ruins of the Great Mosque of Madrid, Plaza Mayor, Puerto del Sol Square, and free time. Afterwards, we'll take a bus to Paseo de la Castellana, the Sibele Monument, and Real Madrid Stadium. Dinner and overnight stay after the tour.
After breakfast, we have free time in the city center. At a time determined by our guide, we'll gather and transfer to Madrid Airport. After luggage and ticketing, we'll board a Pegasus Airlines scheduled flight to Istanbul, marking the end of our tour.
